Heat Treatment Australia is an innovative company offering unique thermal processing services to the metal industry. As a Queensland owned family business operating since 1979 our company has grown from a one man show to a staff of 50 located at three branches - Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne. With a wealth of experience in the heat-treating industry, our staff are the best in the country.

Heat Treatment Australia has been operating for over 30 years in the Australian marketplace. Its three plants include high technology equipment and computerized facilities, which are considered to have greater flexibility utilizing advanced process controls. The professional staff hold, the necessary skills and experience to enhance successful business performance.

The Brisbane plant, which is the head office, is the longest established branch of Heat Treatment Australia and offers the greatest range of services and processes of the three branches. Our Brisbane facility has also taken significant strides in quality accreditation. Beginning with ISO 9001 accreditation in 2001, we developed our system to the point of successful AS9100 accreditation in 2008 following with the aerospace accreditation of Nadcap in 2009. Our quality systems continue to develop with additional Nadcap processing scope achieved in 2010.

The Sydney plant, in operation for over 10 years, specifically focuses on four major processes including Bristuff Nitriding, aluminium heat-treating, Cryotemp Processing and conveyor treatments. The Sydney facility also maintains a complete ISO 9001 quality system.

The Melbourne branch, the newest of the operations, offers Bristuff nitriding, aluminium heat treatment and vacuum hardening. We are also in the process of developing our quality systems in Melbourne with the goal of achieving AS9100 accreditation in 2011.
